 The Cliffs of Moher

SES approached the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s top visitor attractions, in relation to their water consumption on site and prepared a detailed audit on the savings that could be achieved by introducing some of their water saving products.

The suggestions included fitting devices to the taps to reduce the flow, adapting the flushing capacity of the toilets and introducing waterless urinals in the male toilets. A total of 12 new bowls incorporating the Key System were fitted in the centre.

“We are very pleased with the savings we are seeing to date on our BMS (Building Management System) as a result of introducing the water saving initiatives brought to us by Smart Energy Systems. We are very keen to ensure that all efforts are made at the Cliffs to save on our valuable resources. The introduction of the waterless urinals last autumn has seen the most significant savings.
