Flow Simulation Testing
Planning and development applications often require the analysis of an existing water distribution network.
The capacity of a network must be able to cope with a new service before any property can be connected to it. The aim of Flow Simulation Testing (FST) is to confirm that service along the network is not disrupted by this this addition. Pressure loggers are installed at points along the network to understand service capacity before a flow simulation test is conducted at times where the most demand is seen.
We work in close proximity with architecture and engineering firms, compiling all the key data in our report before returning it with our findings and (where applicable) recommendations.
